Facebook Tests New In-App Shopping Ads for Both Facebook and Instagram (Social Media Today)

Ahead of the holiday season, Facebook is testing out two new shopping ad options, both of which are aimed at streamlining the path to purchase, and keeping users in-app, as opposed to filtering them off to other websites. First off, on Facebook - The Social Network is testing out a new, Dynamic Ad ad option which would enable users to order an advertised item direct from the News Feed ad itself. Read more:

LinkedIn Data Scraping Ruled Legal (Forbes)

A court has ruled that it's legal to scrape publicly available data from LinkedIn, despite the company's claims that this violates user privacy. San Francisco-based start-up hiQ Labs harvests user profiles from LinkedIn and uses them to analyze workforce data, for example by predicting when employees are likely to leave their jobs, or where skills shortages may emerge. Twitter Officially Launches Option to Drag to Re-Order Attached Tweet Images (Social Media Today)

After it was spotted in testing back in July, Twitter has now officially launched the capacity for users to rearrange their attached tweet images via a simple drag and drop process. As you can see, the process is fairly straight-forward - now, when you attach two or more images to your tweet, you'll be able to drag and rearrange how they'll look, saving you the minor headache of having to upload them in the order you'd prefer.
